ReVeluvs everywhere are screaming their heads off! Subkulture announced that they will be bringing popular girl group, Red Velvet to Chicago for a fan meeting. The fan meet will take place on April 29 at the Rosemont Theatre.

Red Velvet debuted in 2014 with their song Happiness and quickly rose in popularity. The releases of their full-length album The Red and their EP’s  The VelvetRussian Roulette, which were all released in 2016 went number one on the Gaon Album Chart. Their 2017 album Rookie, reached number one as well.

I didn’t get into Red Velvet until they released their last album, Perfect Velvet. Holy smokes it was so good! There was something about ‘Peek-A-Boo’ that hooked me. That song can play for hours and it wouldn’t bother me one bit. Red Velvet has slower, more soulful songs like Kingdom Come if this is more your speed.

Prices for the tickets have also been released. If you are interested in the P1 ticket which includes a group photo with a signed fan meet poster, the ticket will be $179. A P2 ticket with an unsigned poster will be $149. A P3 ticket is $119. P4 and P5 tickets are $89 and $59 respectively. Keep an eye out on the SubKulture Facebook Page for links to ticket sales when they go up!

I won’t be able to attend since I’m based on the East Coast, but I am happy the group will be coming to the States, even if it’s for one night in one city.

Will you be attending? What is your favorite Red Velvet song? Leave your responses in the comments below!
