Rookie group MONT will attempt to create their first mini-album by using the crowdfunding service, Makestar. I’m not sure if you can call a group that hasn’t officially debuted yet,a rookie group, but for the sake of the article I will. The trio was first seen on the survival show, MixNine. The members are Narachan, Roda, and Bitsaeon. There is talk that the current trio will soon be a quintet with the addition of two members after the release of their first album.
MONT is currently trying to produce their first mini-album and they need their fans help. Their company, FM Entertainment, has created a crowd fundraiser and if you help out, you could be labeled an honorary producer. The fundraiser is ongoing and will last until April 18th. It’s an all-or-nothing fundraiser meaning if the group doesn’t get all the money requested, all those who did donate will get a refund.
This is not the first time k-pop artists have used Makestar to help them produce a new album. Aoora, Heyne, and group T.E.N also have active fundraisers that you can be part of. Other artists like B.A.P., The Rose, and April have been very successful with their fundraising, sometimes making well over 100% of the requested funding. Hopefully, MONT will be successful at their fundraiser so that they can create their mini-album.
Please support MONT by following them on social media. Also, let me know which song of theirs you like the most!
