On November 25th, Just Music made the final stop on their “We Effect” US tour. K-Hip Hop fans lined up at Stage 48 in New York City for the rare appearance of Just Music artists, including Swings, Giriboy, and CJAMM. four-city tour also touched down in Los Angeles, Vancouver and Toronto.
Fans enjoyed performances of songs from the labelmates upcoming albums as well as tracks produced on Hip Hop competition program Show Me the Money (SMTM). Swings is the label’s founder as well as one of its major artists. Both Giriboy and CJamm have previously completed on SMTM, years three and five respectively, where they gained notoriety for their skills. Giriboy has previously worked with artists under Starship Entertainment during another music survival series, No Mercy.
Bill Stax, Blacknut, CJAMM, Genius Nochang, Giriboy, Goretexx, Han Yohan, Osshun Gum, and Swings all had explosive performances. The crowd was intensely pumped and Stage 48 allowed them to work the audience well. Each one brought their A-game.It was everything you see on Youtube and pray for a chance to see in real life. At the end, they all returned to the stage for a group performance of their song Sushi to wrap up the show. The party was extended with an after-party at Green Lady NY.
We can thank WESKE Entertainment for the chance to see some of the hottest rappers in K-Hip Hop live for the first time. It’s leaving us eager for the next time Just Music artists return to the US!
